Career Solutions, formerly Stearns-Benton Employment & Training Council (SBETC), is dedicated to helping the Stearns and Benton County community grow by meeting the workforce needs of businesses and job seekers now and in the future.
Career Solutions is an employment and training organization. For over thirty years, through career counseling, job training, and business relationships, we’ve helped entry-level to experienced workers – youth to adults – train for and gain meaningful self-sustaining employment.

“I was having problems…dead end job, after dead end job. I found myself unemployed and at the WorkForce Center and had noticed Career Solutions – Dislocated Worker Program. I met with a career planner and completed career assessments to see what kind of work I would be suited for. My career planner reviewed my assessment results with me and showed me labor market projections of job openings in each field. I then selected the trucking field. My career planner helped me get into a truck driving training program right away. In six weeks, I had my CDL Class A driver’s license! I was then able to land a job in the industry, nearly tripling my previous income. I can’t say enough about how great the Dislocated Worker Program is! I probably couldn’t have done it without them!”

“The Youthbuild program built a beautiful pavilion for the Clearview Elementary School community. The pavilion is the trail-head to the Clearview Forest. The pavilion and forest are used on a daily basis by teachers and people from the community. The structure serves as a shaded space to host classes, eat lunches and for rest and quiet solitude. The Youthbuild program assisted in the planning, transporting of the supplies and building of the structure. The Tech Youthbuild and Clearview Elementary School formed a wonderful partnership in this process.”
